I don’t normally do many covers, but this week I thought I would put together my own arrangement of a great Cory Wong tune called ‘Meditation’. It’s fun to solo over, based mostly in E mixolydian but with occasional G naturals (giving it more of a dorian feel in those moments). As always, backing track is below!

It only seemed right to use the Neural DSP Archetype: Cory Wong plug-in for the electric guitar sounds. The clean tone is his ‘Meditation’ preset and the lead tone is his ‘Meditation Solo’ preset but with the shimmer reverb turned on.
